Overall, it's a great place, but there's nothing on the face of the earth that couldn't stand a little improvement, so I offer the following suggestion: arrange the merchandise so it's easier for the customer to find a desired item. For example, put all threaded fasteners as close together as possible. After machine screws and lag screws and carriage bolts, put wood screws in an adjacent shelving section, not across the aisle. In PVC plumbing fittings, put all the elbows together, arranged from smallest to largest, then all the couplings, then all the tees, then all the threaded adapters, etc. Likewise for all other plumbing categories like black iron, galvanized, and copper, for electrical switches, outlets, connectors and such, and for any other category of merchandise that can be similarly categorized. I'd be happy to pay a penny or two more for a 3/8" flat washer if I didn't have to spent 10 or 15 minutes rummaging to find it.
