Texas is the second-biggest state in the United States, covering an area of 268, 601 square miles (172 million acres). This data represents $18.5 billion of ranches, farms and other land acreage for sale in the state covering a total of 5.1 million acres. Farmland was the most common type of land for sale in Texas. Of the 254 counties in Texas, Henderson County had the most land and farms for sale.
