Ysidro Villarreal and his wife Delia along with there two son’s Chico & Tito opened their first restaurant on October 31, 2003, in a small location on King Ave. After two years of over whelming success, Big House moved to there current location on Kingsville’s south side to better serve the community. The Villarreal’s have always focused on serving their guests the highest quality products in hearty portions, while providing great customer service that will keep you coming back for more. While planning their first restaurant, the Villarreal’s wanted to maintain a unique atmosphere and menu that would distinguish them in their market. Ysidros commitment to quality led him to the decision of making everything from scratch. From the grinding of fresh beef daily, to the hand battering of their made to order onion rings and appetizers in their own homemade beer batter, Big House started their success. The concept and community support for Big House Burgers has been so successful, that a second Big House Burgers opened in Alice, Texas in December, 2008. The Villarreal Family has remained loyal to Kingsville and opened Big House BBQ & Steaks in September, 2009. Recognized for serving hand cut USDA Choice Steaks and slow smoked brisket, ribs and sausage, Big House BBQ and Steaks has followed in its founder’s commitment to quality.
